Daughters of Hope and Healing

A Christ-Centered Women’s Peer Support Community for Healing, Recovery, and Restoration

Together in Christ, no woman walks alone.

Daughters of Hope and Healing is a women’s peer support community developed as part of the mental health ministry of Fatima Outreach Foundation. Inspired by the Catholic faith, our ministry seeks to accompany women who are experiencing emotional suffering, trauma, grief, loss, loneliness, abuse, exploitation, family difficulties, or other challenging seasons of life.

We seek to provide a safe, confidential, compassionate, and welcoming community where every woman knows that she belongs, her dignity is respected, and she does not have to walk through her struggles alone.

Faith and Mental Health

We believe that faith and appropriate mental health care can work together in supporting the whole person. Prayer, friendship, compassionate listening, and spiritual encouragement can provide important support, while professional counselors, physicians, psychiatrists, and other qualified professionals provide care that peer ministry cannot replace.

Daughters of Hope and Healing is a peer support ministry, not professional counseling, psychotherapy, or medical treatment. When a woman needs professional assistance, we encourage her to seek qualified care and, whenever possible, help connect her with appropriate resources.

Our Five Pillars

Our community is built upon five pillars:

Hope • Healing • Recovery • Restoration • Community

Through these pillars, women are encouraged to rediscover hope, take healthy steps toward healing and recovery, rebuild what has been wounded or lost, and experience the strength of belonging to a supportive community.

A Place Where You Belong

Sometimes a woman does not need someone to fix her. She needs someone willing to listen, to care, to pray with her, and to walk beside her.

Daughters of Hope and Healing seeks to be that kind of community.

What is shared within the group is treated with respect and confidentiality, subject to appropriate safety and legal responsibilities. We seek to protect the dignity and privacy of every woman who participates.

Jesus Christ, Our Hope

At the heart of our ministry is Jesus Christ.

We do not claim that we can heal another person. Jesus Christ is the Divine Healer. Our role is to accompany, encourage, listen, pray, and help women find the spiritual, community, and professional support they may need on their journey.

Together in Christ, no woman walks alone.
