At Fatima Outreach Foundation, we believe one of the most powerful ways to prevent human trafficking is to help vulnerable children remain in school and give them hope for a better future.

For children living in poverty, the barriers to education can be painfully simple. A family may not have enough money for tuition, school supplies, clothing, shoes, or even the daily meals a child needs to remain healthy and attend school. When children are forced to leave school because of poverty, their vulnerability to exploitation can increase.

Through Children of Hope, Fatima Outreach Foundation provides assistance with school tuition, educational expenses, school supplies, nutritious meals, clothing, shoes, uniforms, and other basic necessities that help children remain in school.

Prevention Before Exploitation

Human trafficking often preys upon vulnerability, especially poverty, hunger, lack of education, family hardship, and the absence of meaningful opportunities.

Our mission is not only to help survivors after trafficking has occurred. We also want to reach vulnerable children before exploitation begins.

When we help keep a child in school, we are doing more than providing tuition or supplies. We are helping that child continue learning, develop opportunities, and see a future beyond poverty.

A nutritious meal can help a child remain healthy and ready to learn.

A pair of shoes can help a child walk through the school doors with dignity.

School supplies can give a student the tools needed to participate and succeed.

Tuition assistance can keep a child in the classroom when poverty might otherwise force that child to leave.

And education can open doors that exploitation seeks to close.

Every child is created in the image and likeness of God and possesses a dignity that poverty can never take away.

Through Children of Hope, we seek to walk beside vulnerable children and their families with practical assistance, compassion, and hope. By helping remove barriers to education, we seek to reduce vulnerability and give children greater opportunities to grow, learn, and build a future.

Keeping a child in school is more than providing an education. It is helping protect a childhood, preserve human dignity, and open a pathway toward a future filled with hope.
