Our Heavenly Patronages
The Beggars of Christ Missionaries entrust our spiritual family and mission to the loving intercession and heavenly protection of these patrons, whose lives continually point us toward Jesus Christ.
Our Lord Jesus Christ, Our King and CenterJesus Christ is the heart, center, and purpose of our vocation and mission. We desire to belong entirely to Him, to surrender ourselves to His Holy Will, and to serve Him in those He places before us.
Our Lady of Fatima, Our Mother and GuideUnder the maternal care of Our Lady of Fatima, we seek to respond faithfully to her call to prayer, sacrifice, penance, conversion, and reparation for sinners, always leading souls closer to her Son, Jesus Christ.
Saint Joseph, Our Protector and Model of Faithful ServiceIn Saint Joseph, we find a model of humility, obedience, purity, quiet strength, and faithful service. We ask him to protect our missionaries, our apostolates, and all those entrusted to our care.
Saint Michael the Archangel, Our Defender in Spiritual Battle
We invoke Saint Michael’s protection against evil and ask him to defend our missionaries and those we serve in times of temptation, danger, and spiritual battle.

The Three Shepherd Children of Fatima
We look to the children of Fatima as witnesses of simple, courageous, and sacrificial love for God:
We look to the children of Fatima as witnesses of simple, courageous, and sacrificial love for God:
- Saint Francisco Marto, a model of prayer, contemplation, and love for the Hidden Jesus.
- Saint Jacinta Marto, a model of sacrifice, compassion, and prayer for the conversion of sinners.
- Venerable Sister Lucia dos Santos, a model of perseverance, obedience, and lifelong fidelity to the mission entrusted to her.

Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face, Patroness of Missions and Patron Saint of Our Founder
Saint Thérèse possessed a burning missionary heart while living a hidden life of prayer and love. She desired to serve in the missions, including the Carmelite mission in Vietnam. Through her “Little Way,” she teaches us that even the smallest act, when offered with great love to Jesus, can become an offering for souls and for the missions of the Church.

Blessed Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen, Patron of Missions
Blessed Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen proclaimed Jesus Christ with courage, wisdom, and extraordinary missionary zeal. We ask his intercession that the Beggars of Christ may remain faithful to Christ and His Holy Catholic Church, proclaim His truth with charity, and bring His light and mercy wherever He sends us.
Saint Josephine Bakhita, Patroness of Human Trafficking
Her given name is not known as she was kidnapped at around the age of 7, sold into brutal slavery, and renamed “Bakhita” (meaning fortunate — a cruel irony that God eventually made true). We ask for her intercession that the missing are found and brought to safety into loving hands. May we proclaim with Saint Josephine Bakhita, “I am definitively loved and whatever happens to me — I am awaited by this Love.”

Through the intercession of Our Blessed Mother and all our heavenly patrons, may everything we undertake be for the greater glory of God and the salvation of souls.
All for Jesus: Through Jesus, with Jesus, and in Jesus.
