Who Are the Beggars of Christ Missionaries?

Beggars of Christ Missionaries (BOC) is a Roman Catholic missionary community inspired by the Gospel of Jesus Christ and rooted in the conviction that every human person stands before God as a beggar, completely dependent upon God’s Divine Providence, Mercy, Grace, and Love.

Our identity is found not in what we possess, but in the One who possesses our hearts. We seek to live the Gospel with humility, trust, surrender, and joyful service, becoming instruments of Christ’s Divine Healing in a wounded world.

We Are Not Just Followers. We Are Beggars.

A Beggar of Christ comes before Jesus with nothing but a faithful and humble heart, fully aware of their desperate need for Him, and discovers in Him everything.

This identity is not one of shame, but of grace. It is to recognize our poverty of spirit while rejoicing that we have been chosen, loved, and redeemed by God. It is to live with open hands, tear stained prayers, and childlike trust in a Father who heals, provides, forgives, and saves.

Before we can serve others, we must first receive His mercy. Before we can lead others to Christ, we must first surrender ourselves to His Holy Will. Only then can we become instruments through whom Christ brings His Divine Healing to the world.

Fatima Outreach Foundation is the charitable apostolate of Beggars of Christ Missionaries. United by one spiritual identity and one mission, they are inseparable in purpose. Beggars of Christ Missionaries forms the spiritual heart of the mission, while Fatima Outreach Foundation serves as its charitable arm, carrying Christ’s mercy into the world through ministries of hope, healing, recovery, restoration, and missionary outreach.

A Beggar of Christ Is Someone Who…

  • Acknowledges their poverty of spirit and embraces complete dependence upon God’s Divine Providence, Mercy, Grace, and Love.
  • Comes before Jesus with a faithful, humble, and contrite heart, trusting Him above all things.
  • Cries out to Jesus with confidence, like Bartimaeus, believing that His mercy is never denied to the humble.
  • Falls at His feet with the faith of the desperate father, the pleading mother, and the repentant sinner, believing that no burden is beyond His compassion.
  • Seeks God’s Holy Will before their own desires and joyfully surrenders to His loving plan.
  • Lives each day trusting in God’s Divine Providence, knowing that He faithfully provides for every need.
  • Brings others to the Divine Healer, like the friends who carried the paralytic, believing that every soul deserves an encounter with Christ.
